Cookie Policy
The cookies and similar technologies this site sets, what each one does, and how to change your choice at any time.

What these are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that the next request it makes can be recognised. Similar technologies — local storage, and the identifiers analytics scripts generate — do the same job by other means. This page covers all of them, and calls them all cookies.
Your choice, and how to change it
Nothing but the strictly necessary cookies below is set until you accept. If you decline, or simply never answer, the analytics scripts are never loaded — not loaded and suppressed, but never requested at all. That is the only honest way to implement a choice.
We remember your answer for 12 months so we do not ask on every page, then ask again. You can change your mind whenever you like:
Strictly necessary
These make the site work. They cannot be switched off, they are not used to track you, and they are set whether or not you accept anything.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
maagir_consent |
This site | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we stop asking. | 12 months |
wordpress_test_cookie |
WordPress | Checks whether your browser accepts cookies at all. | Session |
wordpress_logged_in_* |
WordPress | Keeps a signed-in administrator signed in. Never set for ordinary visitors. | Session |
fluentform_* |
Fluent Forms | Guards the enquiry form against duplicate and automated submissions. | Session |
Analytics — only with your consent
These tell us how the site is used so we can make it better. They load only after you accept.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes one visitor from another. | 2 years |
_ga_<id> |
Google Analytics 4 | Keeps session state for this specific property. | 2 years |
_clck |
Microsoft Clarity | Keeps a Clarity identifier for this browser. | 1 year |
_clsk |
Microsoft Clarity | Joins the page views of a single visit into one session. | 1 day |
CLID |
Microsoft Clarity | Identifies the browser to Clarity’s own service. | 1 year |
Where you consent, we also send Google and Microsoft the consent signal itself, so their scripts operate in their restricted, consent-aware mode. Where you decline, no signal and no script is sent.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and refuse new ones — usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will stop parts of this site working, particularly the enquiry form. Blocking the rest costs you nothing.
Changes
If we add or remove a tool, this table changes with it in the same release, and the date at the top of the page moves. What we do with the information these cookies generate is described in our Privacy Policy.
