Maagir designs and builds complete poultry and livestock farm systems — engineered structures, climate control, equipment and automation — delivered as one working system rather than as parts from four suppliers. Broiler, layer, breeder and swine.

Where it began

Before Maagir was a corporation, it was a place.

Maagir is a sitio in Pangasinan — mountains, fields, and farming families who have worked them for generations. In 2011 our founder started there, in small-scale poultry, with one question he could not get a good answer to.

Nobody was selling that. Equipment suppliers sold equipment. Contractors put up buildings. Whatever happened to the farm after the last invoice was the owner’s problem. So the work moved outward — to the global manufacturers building the best systems available, to understand what actually worked in a Philippine climate and what only worked in a brochure.

Fifteen years later that is still the whole business. We design the farm, build it, integrate it, and stay with it. The name is the sitio, and the standard is the one you would hold a builder to if the farm were your own.

What we hold to

A farm should still be worth running in twenty years. That is the only measure we build to.

It is the measure that decides everything upstream of it. What the structure is made of. Whether the ventilation is sized for the flock or for the catalogue. Whether the parts will still be available in year eight. A building that performs in its first cycle and is a liability by its fifth was never a good building — it was a cheap one.

The method

Four stages, and we are present for all four.

Most of what goes wrong on a first farm is decided before anything is poured. This is the order we work in, and where the expensive mistakes actually sit.

Conceptualisation

Feasibility first, not a catalogue.

We size the building to the flock you want, on the ground you actually have, against the budget that has to carry it. Permitting and financing are mapped at this stage, before a footing is dug — they are the two things that stop first builds, and they stop them late.

Operational Build

One team, one programme, one schedule.

Structure, climate control, equipment and automation are engineered together and installed together. Assembly runs 15 to 45 days from completed footings depending on the system, with site preparation before that. Nothing is left for you to reconcile between four suppliers who have never met.

Reliable Support

Aftersales is a department, not a goodwill gesture.

Trained engineers, scheduled preventive maintenance, and a number that still answers a year after handover. This is the stage the industry skips, and it is why an owner’s second call is usually to somebody else.

Enduring Partnership

The first building is rarely the last.

We stay on as the operation grows — expansions, new systems, and conversions of buildings already running. One of the three projects below is exactly that.
